For the past several day's my desktop has been filling up with error messages saying that "BOINC manager won't disconnect from the internet". It doesn't seem to effect any other operations, but it takes a while to erase all 50 or so of the error messages. Really annoying. I have two computers running and only the one that shares time with seti@home is doing this. I've rebooted, re-installed, etc. with no cure. Could it be related to the seti server outage? Any one have any ideas? Thanks, Tom. |

How do you connect to the internet? If by chance through ADSL/Cable, open Boinc Manager, Options, Options, Connections, set it to use LAN. |

How do you connect to the internet? Setting it to LAN seems to have worked. Not sure how it got out of whack, but the error messages have stopped. Thanks Jord. Tom. |
