Hello I'm participating in seti@home. And I have one question. I have my Cross Project ID. I can see it for example here. http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_user_graph.php?pr=bo&id=5ca42f2924f702f4af5ec8052811dd1a Now I want to participate in BBC climate But I have to create new account. I have started counting it (on another PC), but now I see that I have new Cross Project ID. I don't get it. I was sure I will have only one and all stats will be on one page. What I have to do to see all my stats (seti & BBC) on one page |

You can read about Cross-Project Identifier in the the unofficial guide BOINC Wiki Originated by Paul. D. Buck and now managed by Christopher Malton and Rytis Slatkevičius. It is the most comprehensive source of information on all things BOINC. My understanding is that you need to have at least one project in common between 2 computers and use the same e-mail address for each project for the ID to be sync up. Note: I believe that it may be better to use the standard Boinc Manager for BBC climatepredition project since the one they supply is a pared down version that does not support multiple projects. I stand to be corrected on this point, as I haven't gotten involved in this project as yet. Boinc V 7.4.36 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB NVidia 470 |

You have to have at least 2 projects on at least one computer, with same email address. If you have more than 2 projects in total, then one of these projects must be the same on all computers. e.g. SETI. Then, after a few days, when all the projects have been contacted by this pc, the cpids will sync with the cpid of the last project to be attached. So, Computer A has project 1. Computer B has project 1. Computer C has project 2. Computer D has projects 1,2, 3. Computer E has project 3. Then Computer D is the one that will eventually sync up the cpids. |
