Is it possible to controll the CPU usage remotely over the boinccmd tool? I dont find any parameter here:
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Boinccmd_tool

Is this possible?

I'm not quite sure if I got you right, but one way to use different CPU usage settings would be to create a global_prefs_override.xml file for each setting and to rename them accordingly (via shell script). To activate the change add the "boinccmd --read_global_prefs_override" command to the script.
