Hi,

I really would like to know why WUs multiplied by the quorum number are called results? that's somehow confusing me, because for me results are the processed WUs and its solved solution in form of a result file including al instances of tasks that lead to this validated result.
For me it makes more sence to call multiplied WUs "tasks" instead of results, because on when on server they haven't been processed yet and they are not send back, only their result files are send back.

Why has been this name chose and what do the rest of us think about it?
I'm always confused :)

Take it easy ;-) It's just a confusing mix of past and current terminologies.

When being processed by a client, they are really referred to as "tasks". Similarly with "results" to be uploaded, as you describe.
