"Projects, Transfer, Messages, Statistics..." are tabs, you'll have to look for the Advanced menu, above the tabs. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) ![]() |

Strange. What operating system are you using? What version of BOINC? Where did you download BOINC from? |

In that picture the title line (including system buttons) of the window as well as the menu bar is missing. What operating system are you using? Gruß, Gundolf [edit]1.5 minutes late :-)[/edit] |

Fedora 12 x86_64, kernel 2.6.32.21-168.fc12.x86_64 Boinc is 6.10.58 for linux that i've downloaded from boinc site directly. Until three days ago I saw them but since I upgraded they have disappeared. I tryed to unistall and reinstall from fedora repos but nothing to do, only the same window |

As a workaround (until you rediscover the menu bar:-) you could use the online preferences. They are also global, i.e. you only need to set them at one project. If you previously have used the local preferences though, you'll have to delete (rename) the global_prefs_override.xml file in your BOINC data directory, because the local preferences (as the file name says) override the global ones. I set global preferences through the project sites, but every time I change I will have to change it from there... Thanks for now... I hope it's a bug of boinc... :D |
