SECOND Q: I would like to be able to throttle back BOINC's GPU percentage a bit. It runs at 90-93C, and the fan is full tilt. I would be inclined to leave it enabled all the time, if I could get my temps down to about 80-85C. I can't find a way to do it with my own software without limiting it all the time, but possibly the 'preferences' function of BOINC could manage it as it does with CPU. Bruce Hinton ID: 35144 ·

Thanks "Muchly" Ageless for that tip! Bruce Another thing You might try is checking your fan speed. MSI Afterburner is a good choice. Most graphic cards run there fan on automatic mode. But that mode isn't always the best for CUDA work. What I do is setup a custom fan profile and let it run at startup. The only drawback... more fan speed is more noise.
