Have just finished installing Windows Home Server v2 on a test rig (WHS2 based on Win Server 2008 R2)

Also installed 6.11.6 & it's running with no problems so far.

On attempting to attach to a project manager (BAM), it asks for the normal info that's required which I input, but get a dialogue box every time i try attaching: -

Box states: please enter an e-mail address (e-mail entered correctly). Is this a problem with boinc or BAM?

BOINC version 6.11.6 is a test version, (the middle set of numbers are odd), and questions/problems should be posted in the test area.
See the 2 sticky posts above yours for the url.

And besides, 6.11.7 is out since yesterday, which has a fix for problems with attaching to account managers.

Thanks Guys. Issue resolved.

It was a bionc client problem.

Posted over at BAM & the answer was to downgrade, then reinstall a newer version after attaching to an account manager.

Recieved a bounced mail from the alpha list, stating that I have to subscribe to the list to be able to post to it. I have been on the subscriber's list since I 1st joined boinc alpha.

Is this a case of having to re-subscribe?
