On Mac OS X (10.6.4) that is set to have a login screen instead of automatically logging into an account, when does the BOINC process start? The situation is that I left home with my iMac running and set up for "Back to my Mac". I have a MacBook Pro and did connect to it one time. The next time I wanted to connect back to it, it was not available in the Finder sidebar. I assumed that there may have been a power failure and the system just rebooted to the login screen not starting the "Back to my Mac" process. However, a few days later I noticed that my work rate average was still climbing as if the iMac was working. Does the BOINC process start before anyone logs into the system? It would appear so. Thanks, BikerMike |
