I would like to have BOINC run in a way which may have mutually incompatible aspects. I have two privileged (admin) accounts and two unprivileged (user) accounts on my computer and I am now running BOINC as a service. I can see and control BOINC from either admin account. From the two user accounts, I receive the warning message (at the system tray) that I need to contact the sys admin (me) to be able to link to the BOINC client. What I want is to link to the client from one user account and not even see the request or icon from the other user account. Failing this, my fall-back position will be to control BOINC from all accounts. My goal is to eliminate the message and, if possible, control from one of the user accounts. Re-checked. Now it complains (briefly) about a password. Thank you, Ross |
