I have two ATI 5970's i planned on using with BOINC and after the first two boots after installing BOINC on a fresh copy of Win 7 Pro the second GPU stopped showing up in BOINC, but windows still detects it fine. Is there a way to force BOINC to redetect system hardware? GridRepublic - bringing BOINC mainstream: http://www.gridrepublic.org |

Try plugging a Monitor into it, then extend the desktop onto it, then the Monitor should no longer be needed, Claggy |

What do monitors have to do with BOINC detecting a coprocessor? GridRepublic - bringing BOINC mainstream: http://www.gridrepublic.org |

I never figured out how to redetect, but I did fix my issue. I do not know the cause of the issue though. An uninstall/reinstall of BOINC and the drivers fixed the BOINC detection issue. Should have tried that first... It is a new build there are bound to be issues. :) GridRepublic - bringing BOINC mainstream: http://www.gridrepublic.org |
