Hello BOINC community!

I've searched through the message board and could not find an answer to my question - what happens to expired tasks? For example, my PC finished processing the task 1 or 2 days later than the expiration date for the task. Will it still be possible to send the results (and will they be valid) or if the task expires it becomes a waste?

Depending on the project and if they use a quorum of more than one computer, it's possible to upload & report the tasks and still get credit.

Usually on projects which have a quorum of more than 1, as long as you send in your results before the third computer does, you'll get credit. The result file is never wasted though, always good info for the project.
