Thread 'boinc_mgr and linux...'

wraithe Send message Joined: 15 Feb 06 Posts: 7	Message 3084 - Posted: 15 Feb 2006, 15:55:40 UTC ok you linux users.. i got a problem that looks so simple but i'm stuffed if i can work out what is not set.. tries to connect to localhost.. comes back unable to connect.. now i think it may be my firewall setting but this is my first linux box in 7 yrs and i've only played with mandrake 9.0 a little when it first came out.. I'm running mandriva 2006 with dsl connected via eth0.. I have not given my comp a name and only set eth0 to log to dsl not logon withit as its logged permanently.. any ideas would be great.. woman in stress here.. ID: 3084 ·
