Hello,

I am a newbie to BOINC and SETI and I am getting the following series of messages.

Sending scheduler request: To fetch work
Requesting new tasks
Scheduler request completed:got 0 new tasks
Message from server: (Project has no jobs available)

Is this normal or have I messed up the set up? JB

The Seti project is out of work, or has little work at this time, so it's normal for now. :-)

Do know that Seti has their own forums (Message boards and Questions and Answers), where you can ask these things, as they are project related (message from server means a message from that project's server).

You can attach to any of the other projects available under BOINC, if you want to help out.

so I managed to install it ok its just that there is no work at the moment.

I thought that this was the case but as just installed BOINC tonight I have not had time to read all the bumpf and thought that I had messed up somehow.

I will have a look at the other projects and see if I can help there. JB
