I had the GPU working before, I don't know if it is the client, or the new driver, but the servers now respond that the GPU has insuficient memory? and at other times that the server has no jobs available? I'm confused... any ideas? thanks. |

I forgot to post my preferences... My Laptop's 8400M GS is also showing less Memory with the 197.16 drivers, down to 113Mb now, from 128Mb with the 195.81 drivers, and my Desktop's 9800GTX+ is down to 495Mb from 512Mb with the 197.13 & 197.25 drivers too, I've posted a question on Nvidia forum, no reply yet, another posting there will help, Cuda-Z and Boinc report less Memory with 197.xx drivers Claggy Edit: my hosts at Seti: Computers belonging to Claggy |

Downgraded my E8500 Vista 64bit machine to 196.34, now shows 512Mb again. Claggy |

The strange thing is that BOINC reports less memory but everywhere else in the computer (system information, NVIDIA control panel, etc) video memory is reported correctly (256 MB). Why does BOINC report less memory? |

Probably because Boinc's querying the Cuda api, and that's the reply it gets, Claggy |
