boinc package isn't found in the default repository of CentOS5.4:

 * epel: mirror.bytemark.co.uk
 * extras: ftp.ciril.fr
 * updates: centos.cict.fr

No package boinc-client available.
No package boinc-manager available.
Nothing to do

Is there another repository that I can add?

Use the Berkeley installer, but do mind if you use a 32bit or 64bit version. If 64bit, you will have to install the 32bit compatibility libraries.

That is a shame: for linux security and memory usage (unused libraries). Also because CentOS is important: it is used by people with a low budget (=idealists), that are starting low processor-consuming projects on servers. That means that there are many possible CentOS servers that can use there processor-time for BOINC!

There are 2 fixes for this:
1) Talk to the default repository people about adding it.
2) Start your own repository.
