Implementing the interface.

It does lack to improve the interface, the way to use the program and above all in the aspect of the Usability.

Example:

- At All: Very important you sort the information as your require it, by exapmple in the section work you sort it for Deadline or anything you select in colum any category (Project, Work, Disk, etc..)

- In Projects: You select various projects with the key Control, Shift or the mouse to bring up to date at the same time, to suspend, ... all the options that there are available.

- In Projects: to Assign your same one the percentage of resources that consumes the CPU and if you want that two tasks be executed al same time.

- In Work: Your select various projects with the key Control, Shift or the mouse to bring up to date at the same time, to suspend, show graphics and partition... all the options that there are available.

- In all categories: In the bar of state to appear valuable information, for example if these in the categoria Disk, to low deberia to appear the plus of the space occupied for all the disks and if you select two the plus of the two. Be me in other categories.

For the moment, that' s all!!

Thank you very much!!

I hope take SERIUS this suggestions because that's importatn to users and your software realice amaze but API it's obsolet.

Excuse me my English I'm Mexican.

API = Application Programming Interface. That isn't something that the users can see. It is what the projects use to make the "science applications", and somebody making an alternative Manager would use it to communicate with the core client.

You are giving suggestions on how to improve the Graphical User Interface (GUI), that is the BOINC Manager.

You do know you're answering a post that was slightly over a year old? Posted 9 Feb 2006

It's only up there as a spam bot put in a lot of porn, which I deleted earlier.

Wow I didn't notice... I just saw the last post shown on the API category was relatively recent, entered here and looked at the thread, and for some reason didn't notice there wasn't a "new post" icon next to the thread. Maybe the forum software should re-calculate new post timestamp when something is deleted...

Well, it's not really deleting anything. All posts 'deleted' are only hidden. So any changes made in the database can't be reverted. The 'last post time/date' will stay.

If I undelete (or unhide) the post, it'll even get a newer post date.
