I run seti@home and climateprediction. When I use both during active computer use, no problems.

But when I use seti@home as a screensaver, it almost INSTANTLY crashes my PC.

climateprediction..... no problems.

Tech info:
PC XP Pro
CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+
Motherboard ASUS M2N MX SE, 2G memory
Video NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290

Any clues would be appreciated.

Are you running Seti on your GPU?

I've tried with or without GPU. The SS still crashes the system
