Hi,

I have a new iMac equipped with a Core I7 processor. When I launch BOINC,after a short period of time the temperature raised to 66°c. tH eaverage temp is between 35 to 46°c.

In my previous iMac (2,16 GHZ Intel core 2 duo) the temp was low.

Is it dangerous ?

So I tried to change the setup to be this two options are not clear in the preferences windows:

On the multiprocessor system I set the value to 70%
and
Max use of 50% of processing time

But the temp still at 66°c after few minutes...
