I am running BOINC Manager 6.6.38 with Climate Prediction, Seti@Home, Rosetta@Home, Cosmology@Home and World Community Grid projects on a AMD Sempron 2600+ with 2,5 GB of RAM, Windows XP Professional SP3.

When the screensaver launches, after some minutes running the active application graphics, it suddenly starts switching between several other apps graphics every 5 seconds or so, creating some issues, one of them being my Spotify Premium start playing the tunes as if they were a scratched CD (high CPU usage due to this app and graphics switching?)

Is there a reason for this? I have all my projects programmed to switch between applications every 60 mins but as I mentioned, the screensaver starts switching between the different apps' graphics very quickly. This seems to be slowing down the computation as well for each app (task)...
