Hi,

I migrate from Vista 32bit to Windows 7 Home Premium German 64bit and installed the current beta 6.10.24. I want to use my old boinc data directory for all users and set it in the installation dialog. As installing admin everything works, but as standard user I got the message, that I should ask the admin to set this users to be a member of boinc_users.
I fixed it by giving the boinc_* and users group the modify rights on the old boinc data directory and subdirectories + files.
Maybe the user group was not set to be a member of boinc_* - I set this during my testings (German user group is called Benutzer):
net localgroup boinc_projects Benutzer /add
net localgroup boinc_users Benutzer /add
net localgroup boinc_admins Benutzer /add
