Here my log, I just get deferred communications! Here my log, I just get deferred communications! Any help? You may get better/faster help on the Seti Unix/Linux Help Desk but it looks like you may not be getting though your firewall. I know that Boinc needs these ports on Windows machine. boinc.exe needs internet access on ports 80 and 443 and local access (127.0.0.1) on ports 1043 and 31416. boincmgr.exe, boinccmd.exe and boinc.scr need local access on ports 1043 and 31416. Thanks for your answer, but I guess it's not related to SETI/Predictor. I now did following: I created another user on my box and installed BOINC. Then I set the proxy settings in "client_state.xml" and attached to my projects.
