What's your Windows version?
Is it fully up-to-date?
Tried cleaning out your temporary internet files and then downloading the installer again?

What is the exact error message? You can find those details in your Event Viewer. (Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer.‌ Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.), and check the System and Application logs.

for some reason 6.10.18 doesnt show the "resource share" in the 'projects' tab

Try to open up the column between Avg. Work done and Status.
