i usually set BOINC to "run always". however, if i right-click on the "B" in the systray, and select "Suspend" it says "activities suspended" under the WORK tab in the boinc manager. but if i check my task manager in WinXP, it still shows sulphur_4.22, rosetta_4.81 and albert_4.37 as still chewing up processor time (~31% each). mfold125 is also in the list but it is using under 1% of the processor.

suspended doesn't really mean suspended???
