Hi!
I'm a computer science student and I'll present a project about Volunteer Computing soon. There's something I didn't understand very well that I'd be glad if someone could help me with an explanation.
I'd like to know why the core client communicates with the BOINC manager using a TCP connection when they both run in the same computer.
