When I have the nvidia drivers 190.42 installed, BOINC does not detect the GPU. It does detect the GPU when I have the 185.18.36 drivers installed though. I am running 64 bit linux, anyone else having this issue? |

Which Linux? Is libcuda.so installed on your system with the 190.42 drivers? |

Ubuntu 9.10. It is detecting the GPU's with the 185.18.36 drivers. Let me install the 190.42 drivers and I'll get back to you about libcuda.so |

After reinstalling 190.42, libcuda.so shows up, and of course now BOINC will detect the GPU's. Still very strange that it is working now, but didn't before when I installed the 190.42 drivers. Another issue might have been the kernel I was using. I was using a custom 2.6.31.5 kernel before when it wasn't working, and just updated to 2.6.31.6. If I get some free time I will try to zero in on the cause, but it is working now. |

Yes. I'm having the no GPU on Windows 7 64bit with NVIDIA v191.07 driver as well. Make sure you didn't install BOINC as a service (protected application execution), as that will not detect the GPU. See here as to why that is. |
