I have never had an issue with Boinc or this machine, but when trying to update from 6.6.36 to 6.10.17, when I hit "Run", nothing happens. I tried again, this time saving the file - same deal. I rebooted, stopped Boinc, and tried again, no-go. The only thing I was left with were some log files in Local Settings Temp that said Boinc reported a problem error 2762. Can't find anything at Boinc or anything meaningful on the web. Anyone have ideas how to fix this? ![]() |

When I entered "2762" in the Google search box, the first entry in the dropdown list, even before the actual search, was "2762 cannot write script record". It seems to be an InstallShield error. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) ![]() |

Try downloading it to different location, then double click it once it's downloaded fully. Claggy |

Badda-Bing-Badda-Boom Saved to a dirrent location and it all went as usual. Of course now I wonder why, or what would have happened if I had hit Run. Thank you for the solution. Cragg ![]() |

P.S. I apologize to all for the typo in the title. It would be nuce to have a 2 minute edit period like I've seen on other sites that allow posts. ![]() |
