Even though I have the preference set to only run when the user isn't active, it still runs and eats up CPU time. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you deal with it. I want Boinc to use as much CPU as it needs when I'm not on the computer, but it's being a HOG. ID: 28554 ·

Which version of BOINC? ... I have the preference set ... Preferences are in 2 places: 1) On your account page of the project server 2) In your BOINC manager menu under Advanced, which over-rides the other settings for that computer. Did you check both? Let me rephrase that, I don't know what to tell my system to do with it. Any help? ID: 28560 ·
