- If you want to connect to the Seti project, go to Your Account.
- Change your password, type it in twice and hit the Change Password button.
Start Boinc Manager if it isn't open yet.
At the top menu bar, you see Projects (not the tab, but the menu bar), press it.
Select Attach to project.
- Type in, or copy & paste: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu
- Press Next.
- Press the radio button before "Use existing account"
- Fill in your email address (top of the page) and the password you just set at the Seti page.
- Press Next.

That should attach you to Seti.

Like you, I miss my old 'seti@home' project.
I have already followed all the advice above and still cannot get reconnected to the 'seti' project. I click the 'Attach To Project' button on my BOINC manager and always get a "cannot connect...try again later" message. I go to the boards and am informed that the 'seti' board is down.
It makes me wonder if the 'seti' project is not about to be abandoned and this is a way to 'ease' everyone out. This, to me, would be a sad state of affairs.
Seti has been of great interest to me since it was nothing more than 'a gleam in the eye and mind' of Carl Sagan (one of my very few heroes).
Suggestions, anyone, how I may reconnect to 'seti@home'"

Have you been able to attach to another BOINC project? If you can, that will give your computer something useful to do, if you cannot it would indicate that there is something else wrong that people might be able to help with.

>Pardon my tardiness; I rarely check these boards.
Ans.: Yes, I am currently running einstein@home; rosetta@home; climate prediction; World Community Grid. Sofar as I can ascertain, they are all running fine on 440GB HD and 1.5GB RAM. I had little or no problem when I connected to them.
