I just got another error message saying I needed to reinstall BOINC Manager, etc., first time I've ever gotten errors with it both times since I upgraded to Snow Leopard. Also my Mac has been sluggish for a little while, now that I just turned off BOINC it seems to be running much better.

Are other people also reporting problems with BOINC and SL? It seems so much the case that turning it off has improved my performance that I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave it off until I hear word of a 10.6 update for the Mac client. (Under DiskWarrior I was getting an error message *every time* I ran, saying that Critical Values in the Volume Information were incorrect, I've never had that level of chronic problems with my Mac Pro.)

P.S. I've had other quirks with SL too, so it's not necessarily anything uniquely bad about BOINC, SL seems to have been released just a tad too early IMO.
