Newest version's screensaver/work screen crashes computer. I cannot exit it even with an alt-ctl-delete or the power button on the computer. I have to interrupt power completely at my surge protector. Previous version locked the computer temporarily, however repeated tapping for an extended time (a minuted or more) would bring me back to a work screen. Nothing works with this except for a cold restart. Any ideas, anyone?

Don't use the screensaver.

Yes, how about:
OS
Amount of ram
BOINC version (There are "latest" released, and "latest" alpha, plus, for Linux, the "latest" repository versions.)
Project(s) that you're running.
For multiple projects, which project's screen saver causes it?
Are you use the graphics card to run GPU wu's?

For Windows, does it lock up if you use one of the Windows screen savers?
