Does BOINC have a Ruby API? In other words, if I make a BOINC app, can I write my core cruncher-code in Ruby?

If not, are there plans to support this anytime soon?

You can use a wrapper app for this. The wrapper will communicate to BOINC what your application is doing.

I have written a wrapper to write Python cruncher apps.

I know little about Ruby and less about its extension API, but I may be willing to try if there was $$ involved ;)
