i just installed BOINC. i connected to the WCG project; and the second it finishes downloading work it is automatically aborted; and then it goes to get more work; which gets aborted. it goes on like this in a loop for some reason. i have checked the WCG results tab and they list all these work units as "ërror". the only information it gives under the error notification is the BOINC client version.

I have tried a few other projects and the same thing happens!

What's in Messages tab of BOINC manager's advanced view?
Any error messages?

Nothing out of the ordinary in the log; no errors; just the usual scheduler requests and the download status messages.

put messages in list format so we can take a look...

As you can see nothing out of the ordinary.

Suggest you go to the WCG support forums. RICE on certain platform/client versions can do this as can HPF2 (Vista/W7).
