Boincmgr 6.6.31 Linux The output from top: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 5780 root 20 0 22.0g 9g 4928 S 3 72.2 543:34.82 boincmgr So boincmgr now needs 22 gig of memory? Okay, it runs for ages ... seriously it was started somewhen on July 31. So 16 gig memory in 15 days means about one gig a day. No, I do not like that, do you? |

Boincmgr 6.6.31 Linux With the clause, the top output looks better :-) How many tasks does that machine have in the Tasks tab on average? Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) |

Boincmgr 6.6.31 Linux I'm running 6.6.38 Windows (6.6.36 has a "won't finish in time" work fetch bug) After a week I'm at 6 mb with 25 tasks on average. The stable Linux verion is 6.4.5 6.6.36 is available but is still in development. Either downgrade or upgrade. |

Currently not even one. It ran out of work on Einstein@Home. In addition my connection to the internet is broken, so no new work will arrive until it is fixed. However, 0.5 gig are okay for a graphical application. 22 gig is sure too much.
When I installed somewhen in early June, this version was the recommended one, maybe because of this new CUDA-thing. |

Were you using simple view or advanced view? If advanced view: what manager tab was it showing? |
