I am running SETI on BOINC and noticed that it seems to disregard the allowable time restrictions I have set for the CPU. In particular, the process "astropulse_5.03_windows_intelx86.exe" will start up, hogging more than 95% of the CPU even though I have BOINC configured to only run after 5pm. Either I figure out how to get it to obey my restrictions or it's gone for good. Anyone?

BOINC 6.6.31, Windows XP

Where did you set these preferences, in the web-preferences or in BOINC Manager's local advanced preferences?

If in the web-preferences, did you set them in the correct venue?

Else post the contents of your global_prefs.xml file and if it exists, the contents of the global_prefs_override.xml file.

And did you select "Run based on preferences" from the Activity menu?
