So one look at my stats on any one of the combined stats sites shows some rather hinky behavior.
Basically what I am seeing is various projects I am contributing to disappearing and reapearing.
All of my accounts have the same name and email linked to them so I don't know what is causing this. I have all the projects running on all of the active computers so that isn't it either. I recently joined grid republic to see if that would fix it but it didn't.

What is up with this and is there any hope for sanity in my stats?

The stats site are not related to this site.
Have you asked on allprojectstats about your problem?

Well it is not just one stats site, it is all of them. This leads me to believe that it is an issue somewhere in between my computer and the stats sites. I don't know much about how that part of the system works. I know that each project has there server but is that where the stat sites get there statistics from or is there one centralized behemoth server somewhere? Enlighten me.

User's computers download programs and data from a project, manipulate the data, and then send it back to the project.

The project allocates credits based on the work done.

Once a day, (I think), the project runs some scripts (programs), which collect all of the credits for all of the users, teams, etc, and creates an export file of this data, which then sits on one of their servers.

Once a day, at a time determined by each stat site, each stat site downloads the export file from all of the projects, and "adds" the credits for each user, based on the email / user name/ etc. This total of the credits is then display on the stat site.

***********************

Perhaps your problem is that you don't have the same name / email on all of your projects.

EDIT
I've just remembered what the other item was: cpid Cross Project IDentifier.

Each time that you add a new project, that project allocates a cpid to your computer for that project.
The next time that your computer contacts another of your projects, this new cpid will be passed on to it.
Eventually, when all of the projects "know" about the existence of each other, your cpid will have changed to that of the latest one that was allocated to your computer.
