I connect to a remote computer I get BOINC Manager (192.....) Works fine.
When the remote computer reboots the BOINC Manager is in the taskbar, unconnected.
Reconnecting got me a bit confused I got 2 BOINC Managers (localhost) the second was the remote computer all right.

I see what you're saying... it's a bug, no it's a feature, no it's a bugged feature. I've set up with DHCP and pre-assigned mac-fixed ip linkage. Now I connect using the name rather than the IP addresses. The host name appears bottom right. Wonder what happens in your case if you'd do that and do the remote boot again?

Won't connect with a name only with an IP address.

Did you add the names to the remote_hosts.cfg?

e.g.

192.168.100.2 SERVER-01
192.168.100.3 WIFE-01
192.168.100.4 SON-01

127.0.0.1 localhost

The localhost according some very old discussion to be at bottom.

Even if the IP address is in the list?
I don't have fixed IP's only for the BOINC machine I want to reach.
