Rosetta and Seti were running happily until today. Disk space used was 16MB and 4MB respectively. Now I get the messages below stating that BOTH want 100MB !!!! I changed my preferences from 100 to 150MB but nothing changed. OpSys is WinXP SP2 BOINC is v 5.2.13 ????? OK, I found the problem. I THOUGHT I had plenty of disk space, but there is a file in the BOINC directory, BOINC/SLOTS/0/STDERR.TXT, that has ballooned to 586 MEGABYTES and eaten-up all my free disk space. See below. I deleted it and now BOINC seems to work OK. Your client_state.xml file is hosed. Hopefully someone can help you get that fixed... otherwise only choice I know is detach and attach to the projects again. If you don't get an answer here, try the SETI boards - more people there, so more likely someone can point you at an answer, if there is one. |
