So it seems I am unable to install later releases on my 64 bit Datacenter server as it's an AD root...

OK, so can I install a few HyperV VM's and install into them ? Is there a recommended host operating system, like 64 bit Vista being quicker than say 32 bit XP ? This is in a VM don't forget.

My host has a quad core Xeon and 16Gb RAM, suggestions on how many BOINCs I could run in separate VM's ?
