I have BOINC 6.2.18 installed on my MacBook and absolutely cannot get it to process its 2 tasks (SETI and ROSETTA) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Regardless of how I set my preferences within BOINC, it will always suspend computation after an hour or so with this message :

"Suspending computation - no recent user activity"

That is, of course, unless I'm using the Mac in which case BOINC keeps going. My BOINC preferences are currently set to run always but even if I set them to run according to preferences and set preferences to run only when the Mac is NOT in use, BOINC will still suspend after an hour (maybe a bit less) of no user activity!
