After updating the resource shares on the server(s), I find my clients keep reverting to an earlier share. For instance, after setting seti from 900 to 250 on the S@H site (where it remains correct), my clients initially change to 250, but later revert to 900. Changing the server share again allows them to temporarily update the next time they communicate, but later they revert again. I've seen this behavior with all the 6.6.x including 6.6.20 (running the last week). |

Are your hosts connected to a BOINC account manager (such as BAM!)? If so, you have to manage the resource share over there. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) ![]() |

Yes (BAM!) - same issue - I was updating on the project page as a workaround (to get an update posted). BAM shows seti as 250 - clients keep changing back to 900. |

Make sure you update the same venue as that the computer runs in. So the default one when your computer is also on the default one, not when it is on work, school or home. |

Yes (BAM!) - same issue - I was updating on the project page as a workaround (to get an update posted). BAM shows seti as 250 - clients keep changing back to 900. After you updated your BAM!|Project resources page, you must use Synchronize with BOINCstats BAM! from the BOINC manager's Tools menu. If all else fails, Stop using BOINCstats BAM!... in the Advanced menu. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) ![]() |
