I just updated Video Drivers on a dedicated folding machine. I realized this was the piece that was holding back the Boinc Manager. Tasks were taking 24 to 48 hours because the F@H GPU2 clients were taking all of the CPU cycles. I need a way to reset the "To Completion" so that it will pull down more work. Right now, it thinks it needs 333 hours to complete a task and therefore won't get more than 4 (this is an AMD PII 940BE). I have rerun benchmark in the hopes that that would reset it, but no joy. Any suggestions? |

I think I have a similiar problem. I just upgraded from 6.6.0 to 6.6.20. That is the only change I made. Everything was working fine under 6.6.0 but I upgraded to get off the development release. I have a Q6600. I have 4 WCG tasks and one SETI on the GPU. They take between 4 to 6 hours to complete, but after the upgrade all of my "to completion" times are now 300 to 500 hours. I have not downloaded any new work since the upgrade and I think it is because of my incorrect completion times. For SETI my duration connector factor is 85.056928 and for WCG it is 74.820229. |

You're being helped about this in this thread. Please keep asking for advice in one thread, there's no need to spread it out over various threads and forums. |

Sorry about that, I was doing more research becasue I have not solved my problem, and this thread was a better description of what I had expirienced. I have 24 hours left to solve my problem, then I run out of work units. - Mitch |
