I seem to bwe working on 2 pieces of work at the same time in the Seti@home project. I am only attached to the Seti@home project.

I am only concerned beacuse the cool screen saver visuals are not showing up. All I get is the BOINC logo.

How can I get my BOINC to work only 1 piece at a time?

Having 2 tasks should not interfer with the screensaver, we need to look for some other reason for the screensaver problem.
