When my system, running XP with SP2, started up the BOINC manager would not connect to any of my projects. In looking around I noticed that the shortcut in the startup folder had a /s switch on the target command which was missing from the shortcut in the BOINC start menu folder command. I removed the /s switch and the manager now starts up and connects to all of my projects ok.
What does the /s switch do and am I ok?
What other switches are there for the command?

Thanks

The function of the /s switch is to start the BoincManager minimized.
As far as I know it should not have any effect on the projects.
