I have had it up for a couple of months, but the other day it died and I've had no luck getting it back. The bottom right of the screen says disconnected. My projects "Seti and Einstine" are gone and cannot reattach. I don't know what to use for computer connection both localhost and my computer ID fail. I tried removing and reinatalling latest version, same results, so I removed and installed previous one, same thing, so I went to the first version and no change. No firewall. ??????

This can be frustrating. But the message from other people has been that it often solves itself unexpectedly, and is probably happening because another device is using the port BOINC is trying to use. My suggestion is to try removing the 'load on startup' option, disable the modem if you have one while you are starting BOINC, try another reboot. And if it is still not working, wait a few days and see if they have released a new version with a fix for the problem.
