I have had some problems with 6.4.5 and want to know how I can revert to the version 6.4.5 replaced.

Assuming Windows...

Uninstall BOINC using Add/Remove programs (don't worry, the data is safe).

Install the previous version.

You can download it from the download_all page.

Since the 6 versions, it is no longer really necessary to uninstall BOINC. Just start the installer of the previous or newer version, the uninstaller of the 6.4.5 version (or whichever one you've got installed) will kick in and delete its files, then the installer of the package you started will take over.

News to me :-)

Then again, I haven't really used the Windows version all that much lately. Last time I did, nasty things happened if you didn't uninstall first.

Better safe than sorry.
