Hi, I am running a custom project in my boinc client and the following problem happens with the created works. I create several workunites which share the same input, a couple of large (80~ MB) files. When my client get the jobs, it try to execute 2 jobs (since the PC is dual core), and when it start to copy the input files to the temporal folder, the client freezes, and then one of the jobs get cancelled (it shows a calculation error). I tried to stop both jobs, launch the first and wait until it copy the files. Then, while the first is running, I launch the second, and (again) while it is copying the input files, que client freezes and then the first job throws a calculation error, while the second keeps running fine. Any idea of why is this happening? Is there any workaround or the only solution is reference the input files with soft links instead of copy_file? Thank you. |
