Hi,

I've Boinc 6.2.19 installed on a Dell with XP Service Pack 3.

It runs a long term task of climaprediction.net, 200 hours completed, 600 hours left.

Now I am switching to a MacBook with Leopard 10.5.5.

Can I move the running task to the Mac, since I want to get rid of the Dell (space & noise).

Would be shame to loose the work done.

You should ask that question at the climateprediction.net Message boards.

And first, do an (advanced) search there, because I'm quite sure that this question has been answered already.

Windows -> Mac? No way.

Now running it in a Windows VM or dual booting with Windows, maybe.

But the science apps for the different platforms are completely different.
