Just upgraded my Athlon64 (running Win2K) to triple-core Phenon64 (running WinXP).
At the same time upgraded Boinc to 6.2.18 or 6.2.19 running as protected service.

Sometimes, the boinc.exe service crashes with error in VerifyLocale ?!?!? function :-(

Sometimes, the boincmgr.exe is not able to connect to boinc.exe. By using TCPView (from SystemInternals), I can see lot of TCP connections from boincmgr.exe (from different ephemeral ports) to boinc.exe (port 31416), but all of them suddenly dissapears. This happens for some time (for example for 10 minutes), then one connection succeeds, but after some other time (for example 30 minutes), the connection breaks and it all happens again.

The computation operation of boinc.exe isn't affected.

Any suggestions?
