Hello,

I´m using boinc on windows since the beginning. I´m switching quite often between coporate internet access (proxy with authentication) and private internet access. It is really inconvenient to change it all the time. All the time I´m installing a new version of boinc I´m hoping to see an improvement. It would be great if it can be detected automatically if proxy should be used or not.

thanks

Would be indeed nice.

Through the years I was doing it on a daily basis (notebook, carried back-and-forth), I've solved it by defining a 8:00-19:00 gap in BOINC settings with communication disabled.

(Although much larger problem and the main reason for my solution was BOINC's inability to communicate over such proxies at all.)
