Do someone know about columns 'outcome','client_state' in table 'result' and colums 'need_validate' in the table 'workunit'?

Take columns 'outcome'for example,I have found the value of 'outcome' varied as the project processed. Its values can be 0 or 1 or 3.But I don't know what they really mean? And there is no hint from the internet

Any help will be appreciated!

in the source code look at db/boinc_db.h to see the symbolic definitions (#define) for those numerical values.
